You were amazing, the welcome, the entertainment team, especially Pierrick, the handsome guy—he's the one who told me to write that down ??—really very peaceful. I recommend it 200%! We're definitely going back; everything was perfect, the accommodation, etc., and the magnificent location.
- Beautiful setting, favorable weather in the region.
- Only 1 out of 3 pools open (a shame)
- Renovated pool (it's a shame the beautiful rocks were removed, making the open pool less charming)
- The goat farm is abandoned
- The theater, mini-golf, and skate park are abandoned
- The buildings housing both pools are closed and dilapidated
- The exterior of the rentals is very charming, but unfortunately, everything inside needs to be redone: wobbly toilets, poorly designed showers, furniture that's at least 20 years old, if not older… the dishwasher is broken and leaking.
- The entertainment is terrible: archery in the afternoon (for a fee), a film on Friday evening (Asterix, you have to like it because the same film will be shown the following week), and a dance for children at 5:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. Quite disastrous! During the World Cup, the French national team match wasn't even shown on a screen!
- Mobile network coverage was poor, but the Wi-Fi in the houses was decent.
- The restaurant (Le Boissy) was generally good, but not as good as it used to be (managed by Patrick). The daily special wasn't available every day, and many items were out of stock! The restaurant was closed on the first day... which is a real problem for a half-board guest. Breakfast was very basic, nothing special. The house wines were very mediocre... overall, it was very expensive for what it was.
In conclusion, you get the feeling that management is trying to cut costs, charging high prices for the bare minimum offered at this Pierre & Vacances Le Rouret resort.
