Overall, nothing to report; it's a very beautiful resort and a very nice premium residence, PV, unfortunately unaffordable in winter given the exorbitant prices… The only downside was the excessive insistence regarding our departure. It was unnecessary to leave us a voicemail and repeatedly ask us our check-out time, especially since the information had already been given to reception on Friday morning. Having arrived on Thursday evening and leaving on Sunday, we were perfectly aware of the details of our stay; these constant reminders made the end of the experience rather unpleasant.
A huge disappointment: an undeserved 4-star rating and appalling customer service.
We were loyal customers who came every year for 2-3 week stays, but this will be our last time at the Pierre & Vacances Forum. We spent two weeks there this summer, and our stay was a series of unpleasant surprises.
Room allocation and reception: Upon arrival, the receptionist gave us a tiny room overlooking the shopping center. Her justification? The best rooms with an unobstructed view are "reserved for short stays." It's outrageous to penalize guests who stay longer! For our second week, we were moved to an even smaller room: two beds pushed together in a narrow hallway, and we had to pull the table into the middle of the living room just to have any hope of seating four people. Selling this for four people for a long stay is dishonest. Furthermore, the reception staff were extremely unpleasant, blaming me for not calling two weeks in advance to "choose" my room.
Disastrous maintenance and cleanliness:
The apartment was outdated with mold in the bathroom.
The shower was broken and the dishwasher was sticking out of place. I reported the problem: the reception staff assured me that a technician had come, which was false since nothing was repaired.
There was a lot of dust upon our arrival. I asked for the cleaning to be redone: the cleaning lady did leave a cleaning tag, but the balcony was still dirty and the dust was still there.
Nuclearities:
In the summer, garbage trucks speed past the windows, kicking up huge clouds of dust.
For our third week in August, we ended up renting an Airbnb and were extremely satisfied. We will never set foot in this residence again.
