Very pleasant and well located (old port within walking distance). Perfect welcome, very decent room. Major drawbacks: the extra charge for parking and the breakfast which is not up to the price.
Honestly, the bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom and the ridiculously small bathtub (you can't be taller than 1.80m to stand up in it), and the toilet was cramped. There was no air conditioning in this heat, just a pathetic fan that circulated the hot air. And worst of all, the pool area was disgusting (it wouldn't be difficult to even clean the stagnant green water all around it). I feel sorry for my friends who rented a room there... it's expensive for what it is. The only advantage is its convenient location between the train station and the town.
It's stiflingly hot in the studios. Cleaning is very haphazard, both in the rooms and the common areas. Not all the staff members say hello. However, we were welcomed warmly, and the hotel is very well located. We weren't told if there was parking, so our car stayed on the street. We paid about €60 in parking meter fees over four days.
The previous holidaymakers did not clean the dishes (2 pots and pan very dirty), it is a great lack of respect. I have been a Pierre et Vacances customer for many years and this is the first time this has happened to us.
