Old, poorly maintained hotel. Unclean rooms, no hand soap. Bad food. The cakes/croissants were left over from the day before. The dinner was of very poor quality.

The description given on Booking.com isn't accurate. Once you make the payment, they send you a message in the Booking.com chat saying the deposit is €200 for damages and that they won't clean your room.
The reception service is terrible. Their cell phones don't work, and when you contact them, they take no action (the people in the room next to us were having a heated argument at 4:00 p.m., including children, and no one came). When we called, the call center immediately answered, and absolutely no one showed up, nor did they call to see if the problem had been resolved.
They don't wait for guests to check out, since on our last day of our stay, they opened the door at 9:23 in the morning to clean the room, apologizing for opening it without permission (they don't knock or ask permission. They open with their master call). The excuse they give is that they can't make beds and that they're off work because obviously no one leaves until 12:00. We have the room paid for, and all for 111 euros a night without breakfast. A complete and utter rip-off; they don't know how to keep guests happy.
At the pool, you have to get up early to get a seat because otherwise you won't get a spot in the pool.
My partner has gotten an allergy to the sofa twice because of the cleaning products they use because of the pet entrance, and his skin has turned red.

The apartments were super dirty but despite this the maintenance staff, entertainment staff and lifeguards were wonderful.

We are having breakfast and the waitress called Belén, not to berate and bother all the guests, explaining the "rules on how to take the trays" to eat, is very unpleasant and rude. I'm sorry but I wouldn't choose this hotel with any type of meal plan, since at dinner the behavior was the same. Not to mention how she speaks to some of her colleagues.
