Wij zaten voor de tweede keer in Les Balcons de Belvedère.
Het is net wat we zoeken. Een goede uitvalsbasis voor veel tochten. Tegen een redelijke prijs.
Busstop voor de deur.
Spar tegenover de residentie. Deze is wél duur. In Bourgh st Maurice zitten wat grotere, goedkope supermarkten (Lidl, super U).
Maar toch zijn we elke dag wel bij de SPAR geweest.
De residence heeft een broodservice. Ophalen vanaf 8.00 of 8.30. Was voor ons te laat qua begintijd.
De appartementen zelf zijn toch wat gedateerd. Maar nergens vervelend oud.
Let wel op: in alle appartementen ligt vloerbedekking! Dus hou hier rekening mee als je er gevoelig voor bent. Wij hebben elke dag wel gestofzuigd.
Ruime balkons. Echter geen comfortabele kussens hierbij. Dat is net het verschil met een wat duurdere accomodatie.
De medewerkers van de receptie zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dikke pluim ?
Wat extra leuk is, is dat je kosteloos tennisrackets, een Petanque setje of een kubbs-achtig spel kan lenen.
Gratis parkeergarage onder de residence.
LET OP: maximale doorrijhoogte is 1.90
Dus met een dakkoffer en een wat hogere auto zit je hier al snel aan!

We stayed at Les Balcons de Belvedère for the second time.
It is exactly what we are looking for. A good base for many trips. At a reasonable price.
Bus stop right outside the door.
Spar opposite the residence. This one is expensive, though. There are some larger, cheaper supermarkets in Bourgh St Maurice (Lidl, Super U).
But we still went to the SPAR every day.
The residence has a bread service. Pick-up starts at 8:00 or 8:30. The start time was too late for us.
The apartments themselves are a bit dated. But nowhere annoyingly old.
Please note: all apartments have carpeting! So keep this in mind if you are sensitive to it. We did vacuum every day.
Spacious balconies. However, there are no comfortable cushions. That is exactly the difference compared to a slightly more expensive accommodation.
The reception staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Big thumbs up ?
What makes it even nicer is that you can borrow tennis rackets, a Petanque set, or a Kubbs-style game free of charge.
Free parking garage under the residence.
PLEASE NOTE: the maximum clearance height is 1.90 m.
So with a roof box and a slightly taller car, you will quickly reach this limit!

I've been staying at this property for many years. Excellent location, wonderful views of the mountains and Val d'Isere. Never used a car. Free shuttle service in front of the residence. Two free ski lifts, well-marked trails.
The residence staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
