The house was a bit far.

I'm very happy with the Pierre et Vacances Branville website. The reception staff are very professional and friendly, but I'm very disappointed that they forced us to book a minimum of four nights, while other customers were only able to book two for the same period. So, we ended up paying for one night for nothing. I find this unacceptable, especially since we've been loyal customers for over 30 years.

Overall, a very good stay, as we have every year for over 30 years.
However, we were very disappointed to have been forced to book a minimum of 4 nights when we only wanted to stay 3 nights.
When we made our reservation, we were told that this year we had to book a minimum of 4 nights.
On the spot, we learned that many guests were able to book 3 nights, and some even 2 nights.
Why this difference, given that we had checked out after 3 nights?

We booked a ground-floor apartment with a terrace for 4 people for 4 nights and 5 days. For a total of €630, "The terrace" was actually the entrance to the house, which overlooks the road and faces a parking lot with a garbage room nearby.
The sofa bed was in a catastrophic state, disgusting, and not at all comfortable.
The bathroom had no towel rack next to the sink. It was completely dated, mustard yellow, the faucets, everything was old.
The non-existent Wi-Fi, so don't count on it if you have to work or watch a series; it's useless.
You're given the bare minimum, with only a bar of soap the size of a €2 coin and one roll of toilet paper for 4 people and the entire stay.
We had to cut our weekend short because it was no longer possible.
We really felt like we were being made fun of. Following our complaints, Pierre & Vacance gave us a €60 voucher... great considering we'd written it off...
