Veel ruimte omdat het een vakantie appartement is in een voormalige molen, waaraan een paar appartementen complexen bij is gebouwd. Via een portaal krijg je in principe alle informatie m.b.t. parkeren en huisregels. Per verblijf krijg je per persoon 1 handdoek. Maar er is een wasrek aanwezig. Voor het wassen met de wasmachine, dat weer in een apart washok staat op het terrein, moet je wel betalen.

Beautifully located on the banks of the Indre River.

The building has been nicely restored, providing a peaceful setting in a town just waiting to be explored.

(It's a shame the cleaning wasn't fully done before our arrival; the floor in the main room and marks on the kitchen furniture explain the 3 out of 5 stars.)

Welcoming and attentive staff.
With two children, the swimming pool and ping-pong table were a huge plus.

The town center, shops, restaurants, and castles are all less than a 5-minute walk away.
For 5 days, the car remained in the parking lot. As a service, bread and pastries for breakfast are available to order the day before.

No air conditioning and it was VERY HOT. The apartment is very poorly insulated. After a few days of heatwave, we recorded temperatures over 29.5°C in the evening. We aired the apartment in the morning and closed the curtains during the day.

There are no shutters, and the curtains let in light. In the summer, the bedroom remains bright in the evening, which prevented our child from sleeping. The heat combined with the light made the nights very difficult.

In this same room, the window doesn't open properly, faces a busy alley, and has no mosquito net.

There was also a mold stain on the curtain in the child's room.

The soundproofing is just as bad. We can hear people going up the stairs and the neighbors flushing the toilets...

One last point about our dog. We mentioned it when booking and paid the extra fee. Upon arrival, we were given a room on the 2nd floor, with stairs that were too high for him. We asked to change rooms. The head receptionist replied that we should have specified this beforehand, and offered a premium room for over €200 more (which we were obligated to pay).
