«Does not deserve the prices of a 4*/5* club»
Claustrophobic apts with no AC, no lifts for the disabled, restaurant not managed by P&V, you have to rush to find a table bcoz they cannot manage the number of people so there were long ques of people waiting at the door while other are eating. Food was not great, had same breakfast for a whole week. No products for people with allergies i.e my son lactose intolerance! Had to rush early to the pool to get the free chairs otherwise have to pay €8 per chair/half day! No cleaning service in room unless you pay, no bank ATM within resort had to drive to next town to get cash. Totally over crowded environment, not a real feel of a holiday. Mr Cyril manager of restaurant at Hotel Estel totally disrespected us the evening we ate at their restaurant, my husband summoned him to the table to get an apology. Simply, bad experience and not worth the amount. The publicity is done well, the swimming pool area looks really big from the video they show but you will be surprised. You will be charged entire amount before arrival therefore you are forced to stay eve though you are not happy. The free WIFI was extremely slow and could only work for email reading and light browsing, cannot stream, you have to pay €15 for a faster one for a week. Never going back, never recommending to anyone! It was not worth 600km drive. Iberostar holiday resorts (spain), the place to go, worth every penny you put in.
«Over Priced Over Rated.»
Booked 2 weeks for a family break, supposed to have a room with sea views - view being a gap between two buildings. The room was the size of a shoe box for family of five - no one cared as the staff simply go through the motions and the French being French - most of them are bloody rude and ignorant. The restaurant's on site are very poor bar one - which you need to book two days in advance as everyone seems to have worked this out - the children's menu's are terrible unless you like chicken nuggets or pasta for two weeks. The corridors / stairwells are covered in dog hairs on a daily - sometime several days - disgusting. The entertainment is crap - not worth even a look - poor is an under statement. And as for the noise - its hard enough to sleep in the heat as it is - which we expected - so you have the windows open - which then allows you to be woken by all the morons coming and going all night, singing / screaming / talking / van deliveries / cars coming and going all night - its supposed to be a car free zone yet no one adheres to it and NO ONE does anything about it. Basically your paying for the views and the sunshine - better off in a tent as its a RIP OFF. Bon voyage!!!!!
Great Facilities for family of all ages Food choice great Be aware of car parking charges50 Euro per car and if you pay for pre allocate rooms 50 Euro you may not get what you asked for unless you insist at check in
«Kind a dissapointed»
Resources: Poor breakfast menu Sleeping: Poor Condition, no baby beds provided Wifi: low range at pool area Pool: Cold water, at Heated pool you had to pay extra for the chair, no path for babywheelcar or invalids to the pool as soon as you want to walk like 200-300m around the vilage.
«Very unfriendly service and rooms below any expectations»
Was there for a business event. Staff showed completely unfriendly, non competent and uncooperative. The AC wasn't working in the meeting room which almost turned our event into a disaster. There should be an option with a daily room service for the groups and events. Flats are borderline unbearably hot cause the AC isn't installed in the rooms. When I asked for a new room at the reception as mine was too hot, the employee at the desk advised me not to come to South France if I don'tike the heat.
