      Lighting giants

The lighting giants are Pula's brand new attraction.
They are in fact cranes at Uljanik shipyard which light up every night, on the hour and for 15 minutes.
You can marvel at them once evening falls and until 10 pm (or midnight in summer).
There are no fewer than 16,000 colour variations illuminating these metal structures.

      Istrian Classics

Set off on an exotic trip to discover the wonders of Croatia's largest peninsula. If you enjoy architecture and culture, don't miss the opportunity to visit the sixth largest Roman amphitheater in the world, in Pula. You'll also want to see the Temple of Augustus and the Golden Gate in Pula, an important city in ancient Roman times. Next, follow the Lim Channel, one of Istria's most beautiful bays, and the Lim Valley (35 km) to reach Pazin, where you can taste some local specialities and recharge your batteries. In Rovinj, enjoy the medieval beauty of this romantic town with its tranquil squares. A real journey back in time.

    • Amphitheatre

      Amphitheatre

The amphitheatre in Pula is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre to have four fully preserved side towers. Built in 27 BC, it is one of the six largest Roman arenas still existing in the world. The amphitheatre ceased to be used in the 5th century when the emperor Honorius banned gladiator fights. The local population then plundered it of its stones before this became forbidden in the thirteenth century. In 1932, Pula's amphitheatre was adapted for theatre, military ceremonies and public meetings.

    • E&D Day And Night Lounge

      E&D Day And Night Lounge

Nestled in a glorious garden on a hilltop in Verudela the E&D Day And Night Lounge is a hidden gem. First opened in 1997, the establishment had a complete makeover in 2004.
A stylish and elegant garden bar and restaurant, with a terrace and a small swimming pool, it's the perfect place for a tranquil coffee, a relaxing lunch, cocktails at sunset or a special dinner in a stunning outdoor setting. The food is fresh Mediterranean style fare.
After dark, DJs spin tunes and the place gradually turns into a glamourous nightlife spot.
