Many things were wrong.
The reception opened at 3:00 PM that day, but the receptionist didn't arrive until 3:30 PM.
There was very little parking available near the building.
Regarding the accommodation:
The cleanliness wasn't impeccable, with quite a bit of dust and a clogged shower drain due to hair.
The kitchen utensils were all unusable (pots and pans) and clearly worn out. Some shelves in the refrigerator were broken and missing.
Not a very good experience at this accommodation.
I won't be returning.

A nightmare! They refuse to acknowledge their mistake, make you pay for a "transit" night in Pas de la Casa by downgrading your room, and after a whole night and morning of negotiation, they "grant" you two nights instead of the three you originally booked and paid for. It's outrageous and shocking. I've never seen such behavior from Pierre & Vacances. My 9-year-old daughter will remember this ordeal and this experience for a long time. I absolutely do not recommend them, neither in France, nor even less so in Andorra. There are other hotels or rentals that are so much more reliable, where you can fully enjoy your stay. Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid at all costs! An absolute nightmare, and don't count on Pierre & Vacances France customer service; they abandon you once your stay has begun. They charged us for 3 nights for 2 people after changing our accommodation. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the entire apartment, and it was in a deplorable, filthy state. They absolve themselves of all responsibility by claiming the accommodation matched the advertisement, which is completely false. A truly terrifying residence. If you want to have a good holiday in Andorra, avoid Pierre & Vacances at all costs!

Unacceptable experience at the Alba residence – Avoid at all costs!
We drove 700 km from the Var region with our 9-year-old daughter for a 3-night stay booked on the official website, and it was a complete nightmare upon arrival. The accommodation was unsanitary, dirty, and reeking of stale tobacco. The description was completely inaccurate: there was no real double room, just a tiny bed and an extra bed in the living room. To avoid sleeping outside the first night, the residence forced us to relocate urgently to Pas de la Casa (40 minutes from El Tarter and an hour from our activities). This was a total downgrade in both standard and location, yet we were still charged for it. We spent a sleepless night and an entire morning on the phone. We were told there were no more rooms available in El Tarter, even though the website stated the opposite. By the time we had to move our suitcases again that afternoon to another accommodation, we had lost an entire day of our vacation.
This stay was a logistical disaster. Our 9-year-old daughter ended up in tears from the stress. Both on-site and by phone, customer service kept passing the buck, and the manager remained unreachable. As a result, we incurred extra charges for our phone plan while in Andorra, wasted gas, wasted groceries, and canceled activities. Pierre & Vacances refused to take action, claiming that the stay had already begun.
We were forced to cut our trip short and return home on Friday, exhausted. Do not book directly: another couple who had the same problem through Booking.com received assistance, while the official website abandoned us. Upon our return, we will initiate legal proceedings and contact the Andorran Consumer Protection Office (Servei d'Atenció al Consumidor d'Andorre). This establishment should be avoided at all costs.
