Port Grimaud is a small port village, attached to the town of Grimaud. With its suspended bridges, its boats and its canals, Port Grimaud is like a little French Venice.
The town was listed in 2002 as part of the Heritage of the 20th century. It was designed in 1966 by François Spoerry, in private condominium lots.
Port Grimaud is a kind of small river labyrinth, at the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
The Musée du patrimoine is based in a village house, a former forge and the former oil mill, dating back to the 16th century.
The collections retrace the lives of yesteryear and this part of the Massif des Maures. The activities associated with the cork industry, the production of olive oil, the exploitation of the forest, as well as the production of wine are therefore represented.
