Whether in summer or in winter, in sun or snow, Chabri'Aire offers a range of activities for the whole family.
In summer, try your hand at fly jump, have fun on the giant trampoline or set off to discover the surrounding mountains by following a fun route in search of the mystery word.
In winter, children (from age 11 months) can make their first steps in winter sports thanks to Baby Snow, while adults can have a go at Yooner or Speeder (bobsleigh on the piste). Tubing (riding the slopes on a rubber ring) is just one of the permanent activities on offer.
Yapluka offers you the chance to try outdoor activities and discover the natural landscapes of the mountains. Cyril and Benoit offer a wide range of activities: rafting, airboating or white-water swimming on alpine rivers, mountain biking or downhill cycling on groomed trails in the area, treetop adventure outings, or hiking and orienteering. You choose!
The commune of Vars has an activity centre that's open throughout the year. Obviously the ski slopes are always popular, but the city also boasts a range of cultural, artistic, sporting, manual and charitable activities, related to the environment and discovery of the mountains.
Of course, given the location, you can also enjoy skiing, freeriding, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing and snowshoeing. But you can also explore Vars thanks to marked hiking trails.
Whether you are a total beginner or are an expert skier or snowboarder looking to improve your technique, the ESF in Vars can help you. The instructors will work with your own personal aims to help you progress at your own rhythm. The atmosphere is always safe but also friendly and fun.
Lessons are conducted in small groups, instructors speak English and the groups are often international. Children as young as 2 and a half can begin to learn and appreciate the joys of skiing.
At Mush and Co, the seasons come and go, and no two look alike. In winter, get on board for a family sleigh ride, led by a group of 8 to 10 huskies.
In summer, explore the region's trails with a dog as your guide. You can also try your hand at dog scootering along a small course, and children can have a go at dog karting.
