    • Cala Del Pino

      Cala Del Pino

La Cala Del Pino is a surprising place to visit with family or friends. The beach is beautiful with its calm water and magnificent sunsets. Although the place is quieter in low season, in the summer things become very lively. A boat can even take you on a trip of the surrounding area. La Cala Del Pino has to be one the most beautiful places of La Manga.

    • Puente de la Risa

      Puente de la Risa

Puente de la Risa (Bridge of Laughter), a major tourist attraction in the region of La Manga, is a Venetian style bridge dating from 1976 built by the Catalan architect Antonio Bonet. This bridge crosses one of the La Manga canals: Gola del Charco.
The name it was given is something of a mystery. However there is one possible explanation: when you cross the bridge in a car, the steep incline causes an empty feeling in the stomach which makes people laugh. Which only goes to make the bridge more of a tourist attraction.

    • Castillo de Santa Ana

      Castillo de Santa Ana

Head for Roquetas de Mar to discover the Castillo de Santa Ana, a 17th-century fortification that served as a refuge for the few inhabitants of the area.
The inhabitants lived mainly in the port area. Therefore, the only way to protect themselves from the attacks of pirates and corsairs was to take refuge within this fortification.
Most of the building was unfortunately destroyed, but many elements were rebuilt.
So you can always admire the beauty of this monument which today serves as a cultural venue: exhibitions and concerts are regularly organised there.

    • Roquetas de Mar lighthouse

      Roquetas de Mar lighthouse

For a long time, the Roquetas de Mar lighthouse guided boats and then served as accommodation for the person in charge of the city's port, before new facilities were built.
A restoration operation then commenced, restoring the former beauty of this historical landmark.
Today, the lighthouse remains an exhibition venue where visitors can admire various works of art.
The lighthouse is located within a cultural complex that includes the amphitheatre and Santa Ana castle, equally fascinating historical buildings.

    • Cabo de Palos

      Cabo de Palos

With its pretty seafront promenade, this picturesque fishing village on the Mediterranean Sea is a popular place to visit. It's also home to a historic lighthouse, which for many years, was used to train lighthouse keepers. The view from the top takes in the whole of La Manga. Today the town is a well known spot for diving and it attracts divers from all over the world. The road leading to Cabo de Palos offers a fine view of the typical landscapes of the Murcia region: fertile, sunny valleys that are perfect for growing fruit and vegetables.
