Getting there by road

From the airport (23 km):

- At the airport exit, take the dual carriageway towards Funchal
- Come off at the "Funchal Centro/Porto" exit (be careful, this exit is on the left of the fast lane)
- Stay on the V1, then take the exit towards Pilar/L. do Cavalo/Barreiros
- Continue on Levada dos Ilhéus for 850m
- At the roundabout, take the first exit on to R. dos Ilhéus and then drive about 300 m to the second roundabout
- Take the 3rd exit on to R. Dr. Pita
- Drive 200 m, then turn right on to Estrada Monumental. The resort is on the right.
