«Great place to stay»

mark

Very good value for money, great accommodation (just watch the showers if you’ve got children ) friendly helpful staff. Ski-in/out and convenient ski equipment lockers a positive bonus. Hotel benefits from swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, great for relaxing after a days skiing. Can get busy at peak times, sauna/steam rooms could be larger for size of hotel but a very good facility non the less.

«Skiing in Grand Massif»

mark

Great apartments. Very clean, tidy and well appointed. Staff are friendly and courteous. Easy access to slopes. Only minor criticism is that the kitchen space is too small. Otherwise great. Grand Massif area has plenty of great skiing and is very scenic

«New Year family skiing holiday»

mark

We spent a week in P&V Eos over New Year, taking three children (9, 10 & 12) skiing for the first time, staying in a 2 bedroom "exceptional" apartment. Overall the holiday was great and we'd happily recommend the place. The apartment was fine for 5 of us, but would be a squeeze if there 6 adults. The quality of the accommodation itself was excellent and we had no issues with the apartment. The property is located a 15 minute walk down hill to Flaine, but there is a regular bus during the day and a mini bus at night on request (we generally walked both ways, which even with kids in tow was fine). The property is ski in and ski out, so access to the slopes is straight forward. There are some things that weren't quite right and could be improved: Check in - was slightly chaotic and stressful for us, with a lack of proper information given about a number of things; but I think this was an issue with an individual, as all other interactions with reception were very positive. Ski equipment hire - One of our check in issues, as we had booked equipment through P&V - we were not correctly advised how/where to get our equipment, nor given the voucher and so ended up traipsing around Flaine (after an 8 hour drive, with kids in tow.). What is also strange is that the hire shop used by Eos is at the bottom of Flaine - when their sister hotel next door (Hellios) has a ski hire shop. It would make life much easier if the equipment could have been picked up from the neighbouring hotel. Wifi - We found it to be complicated to connect, poor quality and constantly losing connection. Access is now a fact of life and so P&V improving this would make a difference to many customers (specifically those with children) Pool/Jacuzzi - Small and so very busy from 4pm - but making it bigger obviously not that easy. Personally we liked the relaxed attitude towards kids being allowed in the Jacuzzi - others may not agree. We didn't use the hotel restaurant - we did drink in the bar one night and it was nice enough (although the pool queues are the worst I have ever seen)

«Gem of A Hotel»

mark

Superb Hotel would stay here again! The Staff are a credit to Pierre Vacances. The room was very clean the view we had ( superior room) was second the none. The only negative was the WIFI kept kicking out every day but that was such a minor thing! The Location is superb I would stay here again and Im booking to stay here in the winter! Well Done EOS!
