Second time of staying, but this time with just 2 of us as kids now grown up. The apartment for 2 to 4 is very small and cramped feeling, very different to the larger family apartment I had about 8 years ago. But hotel in all other ways very good with genuine ski in and out. Staff brilliant and friendly. Still recommend staying here. One final thing to be aware of the TV's are locked out so no option to use a fire stick or similar device...I guess this is because the WiFi is very poor and multiple people streaming would kill it off. There are about 6 UK channels, so not terrible but frustrating.
Great accommodation but not really ski in ski out as such as you ski out down about 200m of green run to get on a lift to get down another green run to access the ski area. But great facilities and amenities on site. The toilets sparkle like a princesses tiara!
We like the style of the accommodation and the convenience to the resort. Ski in/out, swimming pool, well equipped kitchen and comfortable accommodation. The ski shop that Eos is using is not (for some reason) the one that is close and on the ground floor of Helios (it's sister hotel) . Also they do offer a shuttle to and from the shop - we found it less convenient. We also had to wait in a large queue on Saturday morning to get our skies so worth investigating if you can book a ski rental from other shops at the resort - there are many.
Otherwise, Pierre at Vacances is our choice for good quality family skiing accommodation for years now and we have never been disappointed.
Lovely, spacious 1-bedroom apartment, with lounge/diner/kitchen area. Has everything you could possibly need for a week in the mountains.
Very clean, quiet, and friendly service.
Spectacular views across the mountains ('Flaine Bowl').
Thoroughly recommended.
