Stayed self-catering. Small apartment with TV, cooking equipment, WiFi extra at 15 euro per week. Clean and tidy with loads of hot water. Ski in ski out, great access to lifts. Helpful pleasing staff.
Not sure about the wildlife trying to get in during the early hours. Possibly mice, but hey we were in the mountains.

Like some, arrived after reception had closed, found key and room no problem. Only negative about the place was the ski locker, needs pegs or hooks. There was a puddle of water at the bottom all week so had to put stuff in that! Ate at Le Chalet which was a few mins walk away, food and service was superb. Skiing was also superb. Would visit again.

We stayed here as a group of 3 over the Christmas week. We wasn’t expecting much when we booked this, but when we eventually found our room after some very poor instructions from staff we found it to be very small, dirty and outdated. Finding the ski room was also another mission and I think we spent about 20minutes trying to find this as it was all very unclear.

Once we had settled in we soon found that it was extremely dirty as if it hadn’t been cleaned as we found a dry bread roll on the sofa. After speaking to the Crystal Ski reps who spoke to the reception we were told a few days later the cleaners would come in.. although they did it was really too late by this point

The location was great for ski in and ski out and the views from the apartment were fantastic. The apartment was well equipped with cooking utensils so perfect for small meals to be made.

On arrival we were asked to pay a 200euro deposit for the room, which of course we paid… however on departure we asked for this money to be refunded and we were told they had to check the room… we were then told it had been refunded but now nearly 2 weeks later the money has still not arrived into my account. We have tried phoning and emailing but had no response, so not best pleased about this.

All in all, we would not stay here again. We’ve had much better experiences elsewhere in Belle Plagne.

We arrived after reception had closed. We found our key without issue, but spent almost an hour looking for our room. The instructions were not very clear. The rooms were OK. Great position for ski in and ski out. It is the best ski in out we have had. Bear in mind though that because you are at the top of the resort you have to get the Arpette lift to ski back to the room or face a hike up hill from the town. This is not ideal if you have absolute beginners or if the weather turns. Again it is a hike around the car park from the town to the room, a challenge with heavy bags, so worth bearing in mind. The rooms are cosy but dated and could do with a refresh. 2 of us stayed in a 6 person apartment. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was also positioned under a drafty window so you had cold air blowing on your head. There was lots of storage for clothes for 6 people and places to hang wet clothes to dry, but I think it would feel very cramped with 6 people as the living area and particularly the bathroom is very small. The water was always hot and apartment warm. The shower design is poor and floods the bathroom when you use it. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of crockery for 6. Toster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave oven etc. Our coffee machine had mouldy coffee in it when we arrived. The whole apartment felt like it needed a good clean to be honest. There were hardly any plug sockets in the apartment and of the small amount there were had lights plugged into them. I hired a hair dryer from reception free of charge as rooms do not come equipped with one. TV was good and had lots of channels including BBC and German channels. The apartment had fantastic views over La Plagne. It was easy to get from the ski locker room to your room and could easily pop back to the apartment for lunch. If you haven't stayed in Belle Plagne before be aware that the car park is expensive and it is very hard to get a space during busy periods. We would stay again, but have stayed in better accommodation in Belle Plagne.
