Ski resort Flaine is located in France, in the Haute-Savoie region, close to Geneva and the Mont-Blanc. Le Grand Massif, is one of the largest ski areas in the French Alps. Flaine is just 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Geneva airport and 30 km from the A40 motorway (Autoroute Blanche). It is one of the most easily accessible resorts in the French Alps.

    Grandes Platières cable car

    Take the Grandes Platières cable car and climb to an altitude of 2550 metres. From the top, the view over the peaks is superb. The whole of the Mont Blanc massif unfolds before your very eyes, and you can also catch a glimpse of peaks including the Aiguille Verte and the Aiguilles de Chamonix.
    The more athletic visitors will opt to walk back down (there are marked trails) or mountain bike.

    In Haute-Savoie, the village that is nicknamed "Queen of the Alps" is of course ranked among the "most beautiful villages of France". The village of Six-Fer-à-Cheval is located in an exceptional natural environment, some 80% of the land is classified as a nature reserve.

    The village of Six-Fer-à-Cheval comprises 24 hamlets on an area of more than 12,000 hectares.

    The six classified sites of the village of Six-Fer-à-Cheval are: the cirque fer à Cheval, Waterfalls, the Gorges des Tines, the Alpine pastures and peaks. This area offers some wonderful walks.

    Lac Bleu Activity Centre

    If you're looking to let off steam and have some fun as a family, visit the Lac Bleu activity centre in Morillon! Comprising a mountain lake, a sandy beach, and multiple green spaces, this recreational area is free admission for all.

    It offers activities everyone can enjoy: treetop adventures, trampolining, tennis, an eco-skating rink, horse-riding centre, and entertainment including concerts, children's shows and fishing competitions. There's also the breathtaking scenery to enjoy!

  • Gorges de la Diosaz

    Gorges de la Diosaz

    In the Chamonix Valley, the Gorges de la Diosaz is a natural wonder that offers some truly spectacular views. Only accessible between June and September, the Gorges de la Diosaz area is best explored with a walk which should take around an hour and a half, along an easy track (not suitable for pushchairs). The trail leads you past a number of panels which explain the history and geology of the region around the Gorges de la Diosaz. As you walk among the reliefs carved by erosion, the roaring torrent and the bubbling waterfalls you cannot fail to appreciate the wild and grandiose nature of this unique spot.

    Le Brévent cable car

    Take the Brevent cable car from Chamonix and discover the mountains. When you attain the heights of Brévent-Flégère, nature unfolds in all its majesty before visitors.

    Take advantage of one of the finest views of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix and the Diosaz Valley.

    Accessible in summer and winter, this place is the starting point for numerous hiking, snowshoeing or skiing outings. Paragliders also benefit from the setting to soar above the mountains.
