We traveled May 1-8. Couple with 2 children aged 7 and 4. Apartment: 3123, Frangipani Apartment for 6 people, with ocean view. 2 bedrooms. Bedding okay. Air conditioning works but not possible to stop it even when you leave the apartment. Outdoor kitchen, never used. Our apartment is in the part, Tamarin, which has supposedly been renovated (but not obvious, quite dated). Overall did the job. Half board We had breakfasts and dinners included. It was not varied enough, often the same dishes. And quality, not crazy not to say average. Very far from what you find in the large hotel complexes of southern Europe. Structures Main pool (at the entrance) is ok. Be careful, there are not many deckchairs, so in case of heavy traffic, it is more complicated. No slide for children. A snack bar is available for lunches and drinks. Apart from the excessive prices it is ok. RAS. At noon we took bokits with two fries without drinks for 40€ (for the 4 of us). You also have beach access from this main pool. But not terrible this beach. There is another swimming pool, at the Tamarin. But on this side, there is another much nicer beach and a bar/restaurant on this same beach. Reception, entertainment, excursions The entertainers are top notch. Really nice and available. The only excursion we did was to visit the Saintes Islands. Departure at 6 a.m. from the center, by bus. 1h45 journey to 3 Rivières because we picked up people from other hotels (at Le Gosier). Then 30 minutes of crossing by boat. Then departure by minibus to Fort Napoleon. There is a guided tour of the premises. The fort, its history, and the view is very nice. Then we took the minibuses back to do a mini tour of the island (30 minutes). Finally, head to the restaurant. Or we ate as a group. Single menu (fish). After the meal, it is free quarters: we bathed and joined the place of departure on foot. This visit cost us 320€ (!!!) for 2 adults and two children. Really overpriced for not much. I advise you to organize it yourself. Nothing complicated, especially if you have car rental (€180/week directly in the center). And a last word for the reception of the center; don't expect much. They really do the bare minimum. And the rules are only when it suits them. Overall, we really enjoyed our vacation in Guadeloupe, the children loved it. But it is true that level of service offer is really expensive for what it is.
