Unfortunately, I didn't like much. The buildings date back to the 90s, I think, with no soundproofing whatsoever. A few wooden screens serve as a partition between the terraces, meaning eating at your neighbor's would be the same. The "residence" consists of just three buildings on a bare plot of land. Facing south/southwest, the heat inside the apartments is unbearable. It's impossible to set foot on the terrace during the afternoon. The apartments are far too small for five adults, with a table for four. There's absolutely no shade on the grounds, not a single tree, and no recreational space: no pétanque court, no ping pong table, etc. There's only one ridiculously small play area for children, in full sun, with just one swing. As a result, the children play hide-and-seek in the upper floors of the buildings in the evenings. The water park is nice for a day out if you're lucky enough not to have four summer camps descending from elsewhere. The outdoor pool is very small; you have to wade through dry, yellow grass that hurts your feet to reach your towel. There's very little shade outside the pool area, which is fenced off with wire mesh overlooking a stagnant water reservoir.

Nous regrettons que votre séjour à la résidence Les Rives de la Seugne n'ait pas répondu à vos attentes. Si vous avez apprécié l'espace aquatique, nous comprenons que plusieurs aspects du logement et de son environnement aient influencé négativement votre perception globale du séjour.

Située dans un cadre verdoyant, à proximité immédiate des Antilles de Jonzac, la résidence est particulièrement appréciée pour son environnement paisible et son accès aux activités de loisirs de la destination. Nous entendons néanmoins que la configuration de votre hébergement et des espaces extérieurs n'ait pas correspondu au niveau de confort et d'intimité que vous recherchiez. Les logements sont en effet implantés dans un ensemble résidentiel où les terrasses se situent à proximité les unes des autres, et nous regrettons que cet aménagement n'ait pas convenu à vos attentes.

Nous comprenons également votre déception concernant les équipements de loisirs extérieurs, les espaces ombragés et la perception de certains équipements communs, qui ont contribué à votre appréciation du séjour.

Family stay, clean and well-maintained residence, welcoming staff. The proximity to the swimming pool is a real plus.

We had a great stay with our three teenagers. There was a kitchen and a terrace to enjoy. The accommodations are located opposite the aquatic center, which allowed us to take advantage of the leisure area included in our stay every day. We also had access to the relaxation area and the gym, but these were not included.
However, we were separated from the other residents on the terrace by wooden screens, so it was quite close to each other.

But the thing that really bothered us was the heat in the apartment. Especially on the hottest days, even if we opened the windows a little, there was no airflow! We had trouble sleeping for the last three days. There's only one fan for five people, and the children slept in the living room while we, the parents, slept in our bedroom.

But overall, it was a very family-friendly and pleasant experience.
