Despite an ideal location (the port nearby, with all the necessary shops and several beaches within walking distance)... I must say that the apartments are in a state of disrepair that is hardly acceptable in 2026, with no air conditioning and unbearably hot. I was forced to sleep with the windows and shutters open due to the constant parade of street cleaners of all kinds starting at 6 a.m. (gardeners, garbage collectors, municipal cleaning trucks).

The manager is appallingly incompetent, struggles to retain information, and fails to fulfill her duties properly. She knows nothing and is completely clueless no matter what you ask her—fantastic! After a week, we needed to change our sheets and towels, and one evening when we returned from the beach, a set of towels was missing. There was no one at reception, so I had to shower with my beach towel.

The next day, she asked me, "But aren't there two of you in the apartment?" Even though my son, my husband, and I walked past her office several times, and she clearly had our reservation with our address in plain sight, she even complained about not having our address despite having this document in her possession (????). As for parking, it was the same story: we were promised a parking space for the entire stay, only to receive it two days before our departure. The manager told us there was space in the public parking lot directly across from the residence, but forget about parking there—it's a real battle to find a spot!
The manager/receptionist isn't there on Saturdays or Sundays, even though the reception hours listed on the Pierre & Vacances website include Saturdays and Sundays at the same times as weekdays, so we're left to fend for ourselves if we need anything.
Furthermore, she's always at her computer in the back of her office and barely looks up when we speak to her—not very pleasant for guests. We were staying on the first floor, and a nauseating landlord left her apartment door constantly open, releasing unbearable stench of rotting corpses that forced us to hold our breath until we got back to our apartment. The dishwasher was supposedly broken because we shouldn't have changed the program ? (Do you change the program at home? we were asked!). And of course, there was no information anywhere about this peculiarity. No follow-up on the repair, four days without a dishwasher, the manager still completely unaware, and her sidekick (a handyman) was off, probably chatting with the locals (whom he'd run into several times in Hyères, talking to people here and there).
There are many problems in this residence; people do nothing but complain. I overheard a rather heated argument between the manager and an elderly gentleman who owned the place about the garbage; the atmosphere was far from peaceful. The Wi-Fi was also ancient. I'm not even going to mention the smell in the basement, a mix of garbage and mustiness. The sheets and towels had the same smell. Anyone giving more than one star is either a masochist or getting paid to do so; it's unbelievable. I only have one thing to say about this rental, despite the beautiful location: avoid it at all costs!

A very disappointing experience:

The beginning of our stay had gone well: we were warmly welcomed and everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, the rest was much more disappointing.

The apartment is quite dated and, especially during periods of intense heat, the lack of air conditioning makes the stay very difficult. We also noticed two water leaks on the terrace as well as dog excrement in the garbage bin. I find this regrettable, particularly in terms of hygiene and maintenance of the common areas.

The end of our stay was unfortunately the biggest negative point. Having stayed at Pierre & Vacances properties before, I didn't know that, in a timeshare, cleaning was entirely the responsibility of the guest. I had taken care to tidy and clean the apartment, but this was clearly not considered sufficient. So I went back upstairs with my son and, despite the sweltering heat, we cleaned everything again as best we could.

When I returned the keys, my security deposit wasn't refunded. I had to call the receptionist the following afternoon to ask about the situation, and I was told she didn't have time to deal with it. I finally got my deposit back three days after my departure.

But the most surprising thing was discovering, four days after my departure and without any prior notification, a new charge of €40 on my bank card for cleaning fees. After going to the trouble of returning with my son to clean the apartment again, I find this way of doing things particularly unpleasant and disrespectful as a customer.

Beyond the amount, it's the lack of communication and consideration that disappoints me most. Despite my calls and messages, I received no response. This woman's indifference is appalling!

It's a real shame, because the beginning of my stay was promising. But given this bad experience and how the end of the stay was handled, neither I nor my family will ever return to this establishment. I do not recommend it.

We had a very pleasant stay; Ms. Hadjali's welcome was excellent. We stayed in a duplex apartment for six people on the top floor with two terraces, one of which was very large. While the decor and furniture are admittedly a bit dated, it has all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The residence is also very well located, just steps from the night market, restaurants, shops, beaches, ice cream parlors, and other activities.

A truly warm welcome awaits you at Souhila, a gem that treats you like royalty.

However, during this sweltering summer, the accommodations are a bit cramped, but it's not a big deal; the lodgings are functional and the proximity to the port is a real plus. It's not as noisy as you might expect at night.

We had a wonderful stay at this Pierre & Vacances residence. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and ideally located, perfect for exploring the region.

A huge thank you to the manager and her husband for their exceptional welcome. They are incredibly kind, always available, attentive, and genuinely concerned about their guests' well-being. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness make all the difference and make the stay even more enjoyable.
