We stayed at the Normandy Garden in October and were disappointed by the overall condition of the accommodation, which is clearly in need of renovation.
Several problems were noted: missing tiles on the terrace, a radiator hanging by a thread, badly damaged door bottoms, damp patches on the walls, a cupboard under the sink that wouldn't open because of the dishwasher, suspicious stains on a mattress... The whole thing gives an impression of neglect that detracts from the comfort of our stay.
Other aspects also disappointed us. The showers at the pool were either freezing cold or scalding hot, and we couldn't book any activities for the children as everything was already fully booked.
Fortunately, there were a few positive points to highlight: the lovely view from the room's balcony, a decent welcome, and an affordable price.
Despite these few positives, the overall experience remains disappointing. Between the state of the accommodation, the problems with the pool showers, and the inability to register children for activities, the experience fell short of our expectations. Renovating the accommodations and improving the organization of services and activities would be essential to encourage vacationers to return.
