Apartamentos premium L'Amara

Salir los esquís en los pies es una maravilla. Avoriaz es una pasada. Sin coches. Perfecto para peques. Hay muchos restaurantes por Avoriaz y también un centro comercial muy bien y nada caro. Estuve en el hotel Amara.

El Apart no estaba limpio, sobre todo los baños, conexion Wifi pesima en todo el apartamento, mucho calor en los dormitorios, falta de alternativas al haber poca nieve y falta de salvavidas en zona Piscina. En general decepcionante, despues de ir 3 años seguidos cada vez esta peor. No creo que volvamos mas veces...

Great relaxing holiday - only problem was trying to work the technology (no instructions) so I struggled to work the oven and dishwasher and DVD player so on. Otherwise they had a great pool and SPA and the accommodation (there were 3 of us in a bedroom that could sleep up to 6 - the last 2 people on a sofa bed taking up all of the longue area) was very good, great balcony, we had a lovely time and would definately go again.

Unfortunately it gives me no pleasure writing a negative report of somewhere i stayed. I'm not sure if it is due to the fact that we where staying there due to Snowboxx festival and then they feel they can give us second grade service and customer care but do feel very let down by L'amara Luxury apartments. a beautiful view tainted by poor service and later stung with a huge bill for keeping the property in the condition we received it in. I have never stayed in a "Luxury" hotel where you have not had your towels or sheets changed when staying for a week. the lose term of the word "Luxury" for these apartments and service is a disgrace. Yes the apartment has a beautiful view but in 2018 we stayed in another hotel in Avoriaz with the same view (I dont think there is a bad view in the town). Back to the point - If you would like to be hit with a ridiculous bill for cleaning (When i may add we cleaned all rubbish from the apartment and put them in the local bin the night before we left) 3 days when you arrive home so you can do nothing about it but speak with a lady on the phone with broken English and repeatedly say that they have pictures of the mess we left but can not show them to me. If you would like to shower all week with the same towel and not have your bed sheets changed then this is the perfect place to stay!!!!!! Hope you enjoy your stay!!

Great trip for snowboxx 2019 loved the apartment and the no cars allowed aspect of the resort. Very very pricey however and with a safety deposit of 100 euros each it's a bit off putting. Worth a visit if you don't worry about money too much on a ski holiday. Ski area was fantastic!
