Unrenovated room with a reserved balcony that was unavailable. In fact, the balcony is simply closed off for renovations; however, the only ventilation is a tiny window.
It gets very hot very quickly in the apartment, and the lack of ventilation is frustrating. There are fans in the apartment, but honestly, I've never seen such ineffective fans, even at full power. Furthermore, the electrical outlets are poorly placed, making it difficult to direct them towards the bed.
The bed itself is extremely basic, a sofa bed (quite typical at P&V) from another era, and as uncomfortable as it gets.
The rest of the apartment, however, is well-equipped, and even though it's not renovated, it's very functional.
The location is great, really just steps from the seafront promenade and therefore the beach. One last drawback: it's a real hassle to load and unload the car; there's no designated space, and the nearby parking lots are always full. There is a delivery space in front of the accommodation for quick parking, but when we left it was being used by Pierre & Vacances vans, so we had to obstruct traffic and block the road which is very busy.
Thank you to the staff at the residence and the Pierre & Vacances group for their warm welcome and responsiveness to our various requests. We have loved staying there for a few days for the past 8 years, during the summer or spring. See you soon!
This Pierre & Vacances resort is very well located: a true 2-minute walk from the main beach, right next to the beach shops, a 5-minute walk from the town center, and a 10-minute walk from the fishing/pleasure port and its restaurants.
The accommodations are small but functional, well-renovated, and air-conditioned. Pets are welcome. We would gladly return.
