First opened in 1956, the pic Lumière cable car takes fifty people at a time up to the Pla d'Adet, at an altitude of 1,700 metres.

Le P'tit d'Ens was the nickname given to Francis Porte, breeder and cheese maker in Vallée d'Aure, by his grandmother. He took over the work of his uncle and created the cheese dairy of the same name, in the small mountain village of Ens.
Today he has several hundred goats, on land cultivated with care. Here, you can taste 3 types of cheese: tome de brebis, blue, and ... P'tit d'Ens, of course (a soft cheese)! You can buy products from the farm at the end of the day, or meet the producer at the region’s different local markets.
The Vielle-Aure Mining Museum is a unique site in the Pyrenees and an important place for French mineralogy.
