Alpage de l'Airon
Take the cable car up the mountain to the very top, and then follow the signs to <B>Lac de l’Airon.</B> Once you reach the <I>Alpage de l'Airon</I>, you can <B>buy cheeses straight from the farm</B> and in summer you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant here. There's also the opportunity to go <B>trout fishing</B> as well as enjoying the <B>stunning views</B>.<br/>Beyond the <B>village of Les Carroz</B>, you can see the Clusian basin, and in the distance, to the left, the <B>Jura</B>.<br/>
L'Airon Alpine Farm
An Alpine dairy farm, La Ferme auberge de l'Alpage de l'Airon welcomes visitors in the mornings when you can watch cheese making (by prior arrangement). The cows, goats and pigs enjoy the Alpine pastures over the summer.
You will also find a range of cheeses to buy, including tomme, mountain cheese, gruyère, home made fromage frais and some charcuterie.
Les Grandes Platières
Admire majestic and changing landscapes on easy family strolls or long challenging hikes, with a wide variety of itineraries to choose from. The Flaine mountain resort of <B>Les Grandes Platières</B> is a real hiking destination. To reach Les Grandes Platières, you can hop in the cable car for a 12-minute ride, or can opt to reach it on foot.<BR/>If you opt to walk, once you arrive, the 150 km of marked trails around the resort can be accessed from the area at the top of the Grandes Platières cable car. A real delight for hikers.<br/>
Mont-Blanc Tram
If you don't fancy climbing up Mont Blanc, what better way to discover it that with the Mont Blanc Tramway? Since 1909, the faithful Mont Blanc tram has linked Le Fayet and Bellevue. The tram's retro charm will appeal to people of all ages. This vintage tram will allow you to discover a breathtaking view of the Alps and from the top you can reach the pistes. In summertime you can also take the tram and then go head of hiking or walking around the green mountain pastures. Hop on board to get to the top of the mountain in a few moments!
Lac Bleu Activity Centre
If you're looking to let off steam and have some fun as a family, visit the Lac Bleu activity centre in Morillon! Comprising a mountain lake, a sandy beach, and multiple green spaces, this recreational area is free admission for all.
It offers activities everyone can enjoy: treetop adventures, trampolining, tennis, an eco-skating rink, horse-riding centre, and entertainment including concerts, children's shows and fishing competitions. There's also the breathtaking scenery to enjoy!
