Enjoyed our stay here. The village is tidy and there are lots of activities if you want that. Stayed in the superior house with 2 bedrooms which was the right size for a family of 4. The sofa in the living room was a sofa bed and pretty uncomfortable as a seat but we weren’t in the house that much to be bothered.
Finding the place and booking in were good. Accommodation very basic. You have to clean the accommodation yourself on departure and it appeared that the previous residents had not cleaned the toilet (smell of wee and dirty light switches) Our stay was out of season, there was no evening entertainment and the Restaurant only provided burger or pizza unless you ordered fried chicken the night before. Restaurant staff not attentive (after waiting at the bar to be served for 10 minutes with no one else in the bar) In summary a place to sleep only.
The location is good but the services are bad! Everything is paid the crew are not kind... a very small detail but shows how not friendly they are: was impossible to get new towels. I travel for so many countries and so many hotels and never see it in my life!
The whole place is in serious need of modernisation and a thorough clean. The activities on the park are poor and it felt like being on a campsite even though we had paid enough money to go to a 5 star hotel!! There is also a small shop on the site which we thought was good but unfortunately it had really strict opening and closing times. Nothing else to say apart from we will not use Pierre & vacances ever again and won't recommend it to anybody.
