Classical music on the coast.
Set up in 1960 to commemorate the tercentenary of the marriage of Louis XIV and the Infanta of Spain, this music festival on the Basque coast celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010.
Classical music concerts and exhibitions are scheduled during three weeks in various venues along the Basque coast including St. Jean de Luz, Anglet, Ascain, Bayonne, Biarritz and so on.
Visitors are invited to come and discover this magnificent region on the oaccasion of the music festival! The festival will pay tribute to Claude Debussy in 2012 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of his birth.

A fascinating air show.
Prepare to be amazed by this demonstration of helicopter flights, parachute jumps by the 1st RPIMA of Bayonne and a spectacular air show by the Patrouille de France.
The professionals of sea rescue and the Air Force and French Army are proud to show off their skills to the crowd.
You will remember this breathtaking aerial show over the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz for a long time.
If you are sporty and like a challenge, why not take part in this event? There are a variety of triathlons to choose from: Half Iron Man, Olympic Distance and Sprint.
In the sprint, competitors will swim a 750m loop, complete a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.
For the Olympic Triathlon, distances are, respectively: 1.5km, 40km and 10km.
The Half, meanwhile, competitors will swim 1,9km, pedal 90km and run a half marathon: 21km.
In all cases, this is will be a difficult challenge which requires training, discipline and determination to complete. And don't forget to enjoy it!
