Great location and wonderful hotel

Overall, a good experience, but the beds need improvement.

In general, our stay at the Pierre & Vacances in Fuengirola Port was very good. The food is excellent, with rich flavors and a great variety. For us, the food deserves a 20 out of 10. ?

The pool, 10 out of 10, perfect for enjoying and relaxing. The staff's service, 10 out of 10, all very friendly and attentive. And the location, 10 out of 10, is undoubtedly one of the hotel's strongest points.

The only thing that really affected our experience was the comfort of the beds. They are extremely hard, and after four days, our backs are completely sore. When we mentioned this at reception and asked for a room change or some other solution, they told us that the only thing they could do was put a bedspread on top to try to make the bed a little softer. Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem, and the bed remained very hard.

I understand that bed comfort can be subjective, but I believe it's a crucial aspect of a hotel, especially when you're on vacation and need a good night's sleep. In our case, we've barely started our vacation and we already feel like our backs are giving out.

Everything else is great: food 20/10, pool 10/10, service 10/10, and location 10/10. But personally, if they don't improve the beds, it would be reason enough not to choose this hotel again, because a comfortable night's sleep is essential.

I hope the hotel takes this comment into account, as more comfortable beds would make the experience truly excellent.

The room was small for the price of the hotel. There are only three elevators for all the floors, and it takes ages to get them. The food is terrible; there's no variety whatsoever, it's the same thing every day, and the food is awful. Breakfast is served until 10:30, but once it's 10:30, they clear everything away and turn off all the machines. If you arrive at 10:20 and are still eating, and it gets to 10:30, they take everything away and turn off the coffee and juice machines, even though people are still eating. For the price, it's not worth it. A disappointing hotel.

The overall experience was good, but unfortunately, the beds left much to be desired. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and after the first night, we woke up with quite a bit of back pain. We went to reception to ask if they could change the bed or find some other solution, but they only put a duvet on top of the mattress, which didn't solve the problem.

It's a shame, because both the staff's service and the food were spectacular. The service was excellent, and we really loved the food. However, I think a hotel of this category should pay much more attention to the quality and comfort of the beds, since rest is a fundamental part of the stay. I stayed in room 1225.

The best thing about the hotel was the pool and the location.
The buffet was limited and very repetitive.
The hotel's facade needs renovation. Special mention to Antonio at the Albatros Bar; he was polite, very professional, and attentive.
The room cleaning was just okay.
