What a disappointment… and above all, don't trust the Pierre & Vacances promotional videos that show a resort with a lively, family-friendly, summery atmosphere. The reality is unfortunately light years away from what's advertised.
In the middle of summer, the restaurant and the mini-market are simply closed. Locked doors. In a holiday village in Saint-Tropez, in the middle of summer, that's pretty unbelievable.
And for the little bit of entertainment there is at Le Cabanon, including a few songs, we had the police intervene at 10:15 pm for the noise. Yes, 10:15 pm… in a holiday village, in the middle of August. We really wonder where the promised summer atmosphere went. Just a big thank you to the owner of Le Cabanon and his excellent team who had to bear the brunt of people frustrated by the lack of music!!
And what about accessibility with a stroller… It's a real obstacle course. If you want to enter the pool area from the top with a stroller, you apparently need to have plenty of time. We waited 35 minutes for one of the five lifeguards on duty to deign to open the gate for us after the waves had passed. No one else has the keys, and of course, the access cards don't work either. For a resort that caters to families, this is simply absurd.
As for the food, the Micro Bar Bleu unfortunately doesn't improve matters: €6 for a small portion of fries, with a frosty reception to boot. A smile, apparently, comes at an extra cost… and probably much more than the fries.
In the end, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. This place seems more interested in silencing its guests than ensuring they have a good holiday.
If you're looking for a resort with a lively atmosphere, open services, and a genuine holiday feel, look elsewhere.
Because here, as soon as there's a bit of music after 10 p.m., you clearly feel like you're committing a crime. You almost wonder if the concept has become: "Les Restanques, the holiday village where you absolutely mustn't make any noise, ask for any service, and even less hope to have a good time."
A dismaying experience and an establishment we absolutely do not recommend.
I recommend the one at Cap Esterel, which is incredible, with a fantastic atmosphere.
A very beautiful and well-maintained place; however, the services leave much to be desired: two restaurants, both closed in the middle of August, a mini-market also closed, and the evening entertainment is repetitive. Furthermore, while the pool is very well supervised in terms of safety, people are now swimming fully clothed and nobody says anything… (dresses, t-shirts, and shorts…)

The water slide had set hours and was forbidden to children and adults over 12 years old—unfair.
No Wi-Fi, or it was paid and didn't work very well.
