We had a very pleasant stay at this residence. The studio was practical and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, and we had a terrace which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The pool was spacious and the perfect temperature. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach.
There were often activities nearby: the park or Robinson Square :), it's a good idea to check the schedule in advance; we only knew what was going on by the music we could hear in the distance.
We stayed for 14 days with our family of four and our two dogs at Résidence Les Rives de Cannes Mandelieu by Pierre & Vacances and had a wonderful holiday. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful, quiet location and is an ideal base for discovering Cannes, Mandelieu, and the Côte d'Azur.
The apartment was neat and practically furnished, and the grounds were well maintained. We considered it a major plus that the accommodation is dog-friendly, which meant our dogs felt completely at home too. The swimming pool was lovely, and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, going to the beach, or taking fun excursions.
The staff was friendly and helpful and ensured we had a pleasant stay. All in all, we enjoyed a relaxing holiday and would certainly recommend this accommodation to families and dog owners who want to discover the French Riviera.
The residence is well located, the accommodation matches the description, the staff are friendly, and the residence restaurant offers good quality food and pleasant staff. The freshwater swimming pool is very large.
This was our third stay at this complex, and we enjoyed our visit once again.
Positive:
The location is excellent – both the sea and the center of Cannes are easily accessible. Shopping is just around the corner, and in the evenings, the small markets right next to the complex are perfect for a stroll. Cleanliness was satisfactory, and the service was very good from arrival to departure. We were always kept informed of all important information via email and text message.
Potential for improvement:
Unfortunately, we have the impression that more and more apartments are being sold privately or rented out in other ways. As a result, some balconies with refrigerators or makeshift shelves looked more like social housing than a well-maintained holiday complex.
Furthermore, the pool has been fenced off this year and is only accessible with an access card. Unfortunately, the system wasn't always reliable, which made spending time at the pool unnecessarily inconvenient.
It's also a shame that there are no toilets at the pool. You always have to go back to your apartment to use them.
A restaurant open all day would offer a small snack bar with ice cream, cold drinks, or coffee.
However, our biggest criticism is the value for money. The resort gets more expensive every year without any additional services or noticeable improvements being offered. Therefore, we are considering whether to return next year or look for a more affordable alternative with a better overall offering.
