We had booked a stay from December 28th to 30th and received confirmation; everything seemed perfect.
We then received an email asking if we would be present during reception hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) or if we would be arriving later to collect the keys. I simply stated that we would be there around 8:00 PM and that we would be using the key box system for a self check-in.
So far, so good.
Then, one evening on Monday, December 24th, I received an email stating that we were not present. Surprised, I contacted the guesthouse, who had taken the liberty of changing the date to a weekend earlier without prior notice or confirmation email.
Therefore, I accept that mistakes happen, even if the person consciously changed the date. I asked them what to do because I paid for a stay we didn't take. I asked if it was possible to either get a refund or reschedule for the original dates. The person told me no, it was non-refundable and non-refundable because they no longer had any availability.
So I called Booking.com, who told me they were obligated to refund me within 15 days. Otherwise, Booking.com would refund me and would take legal action against them for the non-refund. Here's the written proof that the guesthouse owes me a refund. I'm still waiting.
In short, I don't recommend them unless you want to waste your money and time!
The complex is very nice and seems pleasant, but the apartment and bathroom appliances were a disaster.
The dishwasher doesn't work, nor does the bedroom heater.
There should have been a box with dishwashing supplies and a cloth for cleaning the table in the apartment, but there weren't any. I only got them on the third day when I went to reception.
I think that after each stay, no one checks the apartment, neither to replenish supplies nor to do any maintenance.
