We recently stayed at this Pierre & Vacances residence, attracted by its prime location facing the sea and the promise of affordable accommodation. In these respects, the residence delivers, offering direct and pleasant access to the beach.
However, several aspects tempered our enthusiasm. The residence is generally aging, and this is evident in a visible lack of maintenance, particularly in the cleanliness of the common areas and balcony windows. This gives a somewhat neglected overall impression.
One specific point to consider is the management of the accommodation: of the 500 apartments, only about 100 are managed directly by Pierre & Vacances, the rest being privately owned. This situation creates a heterogeneity that can be surprising and does not always reflect the homogeneous image one expects from an operator like Pierre & Vacances. Our 7-person accommodation had not benefited from any renovations, and this unfortunately affected the overall experience: the furnishings were dated and the comfort was limited, with depressing creases on the walls. A bathtub, but no shower. A very low toilet. We firmly believe that accommodations renovated by PV must offer a much higher standard of quality and comfort. If you are considering this residence, we would strongly advise you to ensure you only get a renovated accommodation with a sea view.
In summary, while the location is ideal and the value for money is good, the residence does not represent the best that Pierre & Vacances has to offer due to its general condition and the lack of uniformity of the accommodations. Special attention to the renovations would be a great plus.
The receptionists are pleasant, however, they make do with what they have, which is the bare minimum.

Pierre & Vacances Residence – Cannes La Bocca

Very disappointed with the condition of the property. The entrance to the residence is in a deplorable state:
– Strong odor of urine,
– Blackened floors and walls,
– Traces of dirt everywhere,
– Visible and often overflowing trash cans.

It's clear that no serious maintenance is being done; it's truly shameful for a place that's supposed to welcome vacationers. I'm attaching photos because a thorough cleaning is urgently needed. This is truly negligence, and it paints a dismal picture of the site.

Reception is very difficult to reach by phone (the answering machine is available even during opening hours).

I finally managed to reach someone and asked them if the pools were accessible. The person I spoke to very curtly told me to call the property manager, as she didn't manage the pools. I told her as courteously as possible that she could tell me if the pools were open to customers (or not) because she was on site. She replied that she saw one open, but she didn't know about the other and hung up!

I am shocked by this lack of politeness and professionalism!
