Very negative review of our stay at Village Cap Esterel (Pierre & Vacances)

We've been coming to this village for over eight years, and each year we notice a deterioration in the quality of the welcome, but this year was the worst.

On the day of our departure, we left our accommodation at 12:00 p.m. instead of 11:00 a.m. because we have a baby. In our profession, we have never charged a guest for a 12:00 p.m. departure instead of 11:00 a.m., let alone by manually debiting their credit card without the guest's consent. Yet, that's what happened to us here.

The assistant manager, Ms. Pauline, is particularly unpleasant: neither smiling nor professional, extremely arrogant. Every year, there's a problem with her. And unfortunately, this is the example she passes on to her team.

We also won't forget receptionist Kim, who displays the same viciousness as her manager. Thank you to her for ruining our children's last day of vacation by playing with us: she promised to lend us pool passes for the day, even though she knew perfectly well that wasn't true. She could have simply been honest and asked us to return the passes, instead of playing this pointless and humiliating little game. We are respectful adults, and we've never had problems anywhere else. We also work at Pierre & Vacances, and this kind of situation has never occurred anywhere else. The problem clearly lies with your deputy management and the atmosphere she creates.

The icing on the cake: we asked to see the management, who refused to see us.

On the other hand, one positive point: the activities team, who were excellent. Unfortunately, it's the only good memory we'll have of this stay.

This is an absolutely shameful way of treating customers. After more than 8 years of loyalty, we were treated with a total lack of respect and consideration. A frosty welcome, a lack of kindness, and total contempt... This village has changed a lot, and not for the better.

I strongly advise against this establishment, especially because of the management's management and behavior.

A beautiful vacation spot, quiet, secure, and very well located.
Plenty of amenities and beautiful outdoor spaces.
The only downside is the paid lounge chairs in the water parks, which need to be reviewed.

A pleasant week of vacation at the beginning of September. Welcoming staff, not too many people at this time of year, apartment suitable for a family with a baby.

Very well located apartment, a little small for 5 people.

The room was very clean. We had half board. The staff there were very friendly and the buffet was traditionally French. By the way, it was very clean and well-secured. Children are not allowed in the pool area alone without an adult. Beautiful beaches nearby. The pebble beach can be reached by train from the pool or in 20 minutes on foot. The train station is also nearby. We took the train for the trip to Nice. That was much more relaxing.
