Beautiful location between the sea and the mountains, very family-friendly and clean. Large, free parking area is a real plus. Large swimming pool (with a special area for children).

I am a regular Pierre & Vacances customer and, until now, I have always been very satisfied with my stays. In fact, just before arriving at this residence, we had spent two weeks at the Pierre & Vacances Terrazas Costa del Sol in Manilva. Everything there was perfect: the accommodation was as described, the air conditioning worked well, the restaurant was pleasantly air-conditioned, the pool was cool and very enjoyable, and the setting was magnificent with a superb view. It's a place I would recommend without hesitation to my family and friends.

It was precisely because this first experience had been excellent that I decided to extend our vacation by five days at this Bonmont residence, to surprise my family. Unfortunately, this surprise turned into a huge disappointment. From the very first day, I would have preferred to go home.

Upon our arrival, neither the reception nor the restaurant was working, and this remained the case for the entire duration of our stay. In the middle of summer, it was almost impossible to eat in these conditions. The children couldn't stand to stay at the table, and neither could the adults. For a residence of this category, this is simply unacceptable.

Another major problem: we were three adults and two children, but the first room we were given only had two double beds and a sofa bed in the living room. This configuration was completely unsuitable for our reservation and forced adults and children to share the same beds. When we asked for a solution, reception told us that changing rooms would cost an extra €600. I had to request a meeting with management. Fortunately, the manager intervened the next day and finally gave us suitable accommodation.

Unfortunately, the new room had another very serious problem: the air conditioning switched off automatically every 15 to 20 minutes each night. I constantly woke up sweating and had to get up several times to turn it back on. The children also slept very poorly because of the heat. Every morning, I reported the problem to reception. Every day, I was assured that the technician had come and everything was fixed. Yet, every evening, the problem returned in exactly the same way. The air conditioning only worked properly once... the morning of our departure.

The swimming pool was also a huge disappointment. Its water was abnormally hot. In the middle of a heatwave, you expect to be able to cool off, but this was absolutely not the case. It offered no feeling of coolness whatsoever, making swimming unpleasant.

Another very regrettable point: the toilet and bathroom have no locking system. When several adults and children share the same accommodation, this poses a real privacy problem. If this is a security choice, there are locks that allow unlocking from the outside in case of emergency. This would be a much more suitable solution.

I thank the manager for finding a solution regarding the room change. Unfortunately, this is not enough to compensate for all the problems encountered during these five days.

I am extremely disappointed with this residence. It does not reflect the quality I have experienced at other Pierre & Vacances properties. After an exceptional experience at the Pierre & Vacances Terrazas Costa del Sol in Manilva, the contrast is striking. I highly recommend the latter, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the one in Bonmont.

I sincerely hope that these problems will be addressed so that future guests do not have the same experience as we did.

The staff is very friendly; we really appreciated our arrival and the kindness of everyone at reception, as well as the entertainment team. The bedding and the overall quality of the hotel were fine, and I recommend it. The only downsides are the location—you have to use the car all the time, as it's a bit out of the way—but the surrounding area is fantastic! There are beautiful beaches, coves, hiking trails, etc. Also, we had two small beds in one room, so it wasn't possible for a partner and children to sleep together on the sofa. Not ideal for a family of four. We enjoyed our stay and are sad to leave!

A great resort where you can spend a few days relaxing and unwinding

Resort pretty okay, though remote, overdue maintenance on the pool and public toilets downright filthy. Staff generally very friendly, but when I want to order something for my children before 10:00 PM (kitchen closes at 10:00 PM), the gentleman indicates that the oven is off. When I ask what is possible, the answer is simple: nothing. I don't want to be a killjoy, but some flexibility in the tourism sector would be nice. (I also worked in the hospitality industry in my youth). You can tell that people here work for a salary, not for the guests.
Slightly disappointing, certainly, when you see that the buffet they offer is still full of food. #waste, #disappointing, #.......
