Stay from July 11th to 18th, 2026 at the Pierre & Vacances residence. We booked a small renovated house (photo below), located in unit P7 of the Domaine du Moulin (map below). It's well-situated, centrally located for easy access to the village and the small town, and close to the port of Bourgenay. The residence's swimming pool is about a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. Guests in units P1, P2, and P3 have less time to get to the pool but more time to explore the village or town.
Positive points: everything is really close by, either a short walk or by bike (rentals are available in the village or town). Different food trucks set up shop every evening in front of the reception. There's golf for enthusiasts, and restaurants, bars, and pedal boats in the village near the lake.
Points for improvement:
The renovated accommodation is very nice, but given the weather conditions, which aren't expected to improve in the coming years, installing air conditioning or something similar would have been wise, as the temperature was unbearable without a fan ?...
Also, there's a lack of a small supermarket in the village or near reception.
Also, for those with dogs: Veillon beach is a 30-minute walk away, but dogs aren't allowed. However, before the beach entrance, there's a small path leading to another small beach where dogs are tolerated.
The little gift for the dog upon arrival was always appreciated ?
Fantastic stay at Pierre & Vacances. The team is professional, friendly, and responsive. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The pool is great too! Thank you for your availability.
