Upon our arrival, the welcome from the P&V teams was not pleasant: as a couple, we had booked a room with a double bed. We were unpleasantly surprised to find ourselves in an apartment with single beds... A change was made with difficulty, with a rather unpleasant comment from the receptionist. After this change of accommodation, we wanted to book breakfast for the next morning, but it was refused because we had passed the check-in time (deadline: 6:45 p.m., even though we arrived at reception around 6:30 p.m., but by the time we changed apartments, when we asked for pastries around 6:55 p.m., it was too late...). After a day spent on the road and the setbacks with the apartment we were given, we were not pleased.
The sofa in the apartment was very uncomfortable, and three cushions were torn. The television wasn't working when we arrived, so we called the technicians to fix this problem and again to unclog the kitchen sink. Special thanks to them for being very efficient, responsive, and professional.
Shopping carts would be appreciated for transporting luggage within the residence, as sleds are prohibited.
We decided to leave a day early, so the two keys and two multipass cards were left.
The next day (our theoretical departure date) around 6 p.m., the residence receptionist called me to tell me that I had left that same morning without leaving the multipass cards! I explained to her that the cards had indeed been given to her colleague the day before, along with the keys. She had taken the time to check that we had paid everything correctly, but clearly hadn't taken the time to properly close our file.
There are clearly shortcomings at the reception desk of this residence (I should point out that each time it wasn't the reception desk of our Electra residence, but the main reception desk for the block of residences). This was our first experience with P&V in this resort, but we've rented many other P&V apartments in other resorts and have never been disappointed. We do not recommend this residence.
It's a shame, because the resort is fantastic, entirely pedestrianized, and there are many beautiful hikes starting from it.
We had a pleasant stay. Everything was good. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the resort was very pleasant with lots of entertainment, especially for children.
Very warm welcome, really friendly, smiling, and helpful staff (loan of games, small appliances, etc.)
Functional apartment (we were on the 11th floor, beautiful view of the mountains and the resort), with a bedroom with two beds and a living room with two beds and a small balcony with two chairs.
Bedding, bathroom linens, and welcome kit provided (which is appreciated), well-maintained and clean accommodation.
The only downside is a slight lack of soundproofing, but it wasn't too bothersome for me.
The building is clean, and the reception is open long hours.
I really appreciated the use of QR codes for all information (activities, hikes, accommodation instructions, etc.).
The resort is family-friendly, with activities for children and adults alike, a children's village (a sort of day camp) and a really nice aquatic center (the multi-pass gives access to many activities for free and discounts on others).
The hikes are beautiful and exotic (goat village, Brochaux waterfall, Montriand lake, etc.), and a farm is less than an hour away with a welcome, milking tour, and product sales.
The resort is pedestrianized, with paid covered parking at the entrance to the resort and free parking outside further on.
A very pleasant stay ?
Spacious and clean apartment, with all the necessary amenities. The reception staff was very welcoming and as a bonus, they provided us with board games to keep the family entertained!
