An architectural gem in the Old Town of Korcula, St Mark’s Cathedral was built between the 14th and the 16th centuries.
A number of architects worked on the design, including Italian architect Bonino da Milano who created in the central doorway a real masterpiece.
Inside, you can admire the central nave, dedicated to St Mark, protector of the city. There are also numerous paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto adorning the altars.
