Filthy, cramped place! Rooms are filthy and furniture has passed its sell by date long time ago. Since 1990 nothing has changed in a way of deco or cleanliness. On the day of our departure there was ONE young lady in the reception trying to check out more than 100 people. Shameful place.

If my bedding in this building had been used to give a Brazilian wax it wouldn’t have had more pubic hair on it than it did. Absolutely vile. I filtered the Google reviews of this place for the worst reviews, and I experienced just about everything everyone said just on my 4-night stay here (harassment by young idiots in the elevator, drunken noise, utter filth, general inconvenience at every turn, feeling totally unsafe, etc.) This was my first trip to Val Thorens and despite the mountain itself being spectacular, I’ll likely never return after my experience being totally ripped off here. For the love of god, stay somewhere else. If they were to snap their fingers and improve this place by 6000xs overnight, it would still be worse than just camping outside at 3000m in January. I hope the people responsible for this travesty of an enterprise end up rotting in prison, or worse, having to live in this place for 3 months.

Extremely noisy at night. Constant parties in the hallways. Impossible to sleep.
The common areas are dirty and poorly maintained. I would never recommend this complex to anyone, not in Val Thorens, not anywhere.

We stayed in a private apartment within the Pierre & Vacances resort.
Undoubtedly, we left the apartment considerably cleaner than we found it: the floor was swept and mopped, with no trace of stains, and in what could modestly be described as presentable condition.
Unfortunately, our stay was deeply disappointing from the very beginning. The accommodation seems clearly geared towards a young clientele with a particular interest in nightlife, rather than families. The evenings were marred by constant and excessive noise, despite our repeated and polite requests to the neighbors to keep the volume down.
Furthermore, the cleanliness of the common areas, particularly the hallway, was conspicuously absent each morning: abandoned alcohol bottles, remnants of toilet paper on the floor, and an unpleasant odor were the usual sights.
As for the facilities, they are visibly outdated, dilapidated, and poorly maintained, a stark contrast to the published photos of the apartment, which create expectations that are difficult to justify after the actual experience.
To make matters worse, we were provided with sheets and duvets to make our own beds; a detail that might be considered acceptable were it not for their questionable state of cleanliness. The supposedly clean sheets had stains, hair, and other elements whose origin we prefer not to speculate on.
In the interest of objectivity, it should be noted that the accommodation does have one positive point: ski lockers located at the foot of the slopes, as well as a properly equipped kitchen, which is undoubtedly convenient.
In short, an experience difficult to recommend, unless you are actively seeking a lively environment and have a considerable tolerance for a lack of maintenance and cleanliness.
