Swimming in the sea is limited further out due to the coral, shallow water, and considerable currents; those content with simply bathing without swimming will find it easier.

Breakfast is extensive and comparable to a high-end restaurant.

The room had a private terrace, an outdoor kitchen, and was sparsely furnished. Small bars of soap were not provided upon arrival, nor were they provided later upon request, and neither were they replaced, nor were the bed linens and towels changed within six days.

Wi-Fi worked well in the room, but less reliably or not at all on the beach and in the reception and restaurant areas.

The resort is somewhat dated, but perfectly adequate for a one-week stay.

We stayed there for a week, a very pleasant stay, helpful staff, clean, the pool is 1.50m deep at its deepest point, and there are various activities every day. However, the prices at the bar are exorbitant. The grounds are lovely, and the independent beach restaurant "Le Balaou" is fantastic! Great food, cocktails, superb view – I highly recommend it.
