Top location and fantastic views of Saint-Tropez. If the accommodation had air conditioning, it would also receive five stars for the rooms.

Excellent welcome, very well-equipped apartments, there were 6 of us in 2 apartments, with an incredible view of the Saint Tropez golf course. The pool area is superb, nestled in the middle of the Var greenery, comfortable deckchairs, the impression of being by the sea with this large pool/beach. We had a great time.

Les Restanques du Golfe de Saint Tropez is a secure residential area.
Magnificent swimming pools, including a wave pool, a children's pool, and a waterslide.
Our disappointment is the accommodation... it's in its original state, and it needs a serious refresh, even the garden furniture!
The cleaning also leaves something to be desired: the toilet bowl was poorly cleaned, the terrace was full of cobwebs, and the fan, not to mention it, was in a pitiful state. We called someone to clean it. I don't think it's normal in a residence like Pierre et Vacances to have to clean it upon our arrival!!! We put bleach in the toilet bowl and brushed it, removing the cobwebs... I know it's high season, but cleaning seems essential to me!
Another small drawback: the sheets were changed at our request once during our two-week stay, as well as the towels. This doesn't seem enough to me...
I don't know if we'll return to Les Restanques du Golfe de Saint Tropez.

I can't judge any more, I was invited there for a short time, but I know that to go to the sea there is a free shuttle, the swimming pools are super nice and the staff is pleasant :)

We have been visiting the Domaine des Restanques in Saint Tropez for six years. First of all, you should know that Pierre&Vacances/Maeva are withdrawing from the estate following pressure from the current owners. Is this the right decision, given that the property's standing is declining?
An incident occurred upon our arrival. Despite our multiple calls to report our late arrival (8 p.m. on the GPS), we were unpleasantly surprised to find that our keys were not available. Nothing had been left at the security desk, and we hadn't received a text message to access the safe. We tried to contact Pierre&Vacances and Maeva, but to no avail. Once there, we were advised to stay overnight in a hotel and wait for reception to open on Sunday. Finally, through perseverance, we managed to reach the resort manager and explain our problem. In 10 minutes, he managed to resolve the situation. We arrived at the resort at 8 p.m. and finally received our keys at 9:15 p.m.
Entertainment: Year after year, the activities are no longer there. The mini-disco, held every day at 6:30 p.m. by the pool and a favorite with the children, is now on the schedule. There are only three sessions left. What a shame! It was a very fun time for young and old, at a low cost and requiring little effort from the activity leaders. The activity leaders lack enthusiasm and dynamism. They just show up.
The Teen Club has been canceled. The activity leaders tell us they can meet up on their own at the "kabanon."
Priority is given to sports activities, where children don't really have a place.
Finally, the mini-club still costs money despite the considerable rental price. Activities: The brochure mentions a wave pool, two slides... the frequency of the waves has been reduced (6 sessions in 2025 / 8 in 2024).
One of the two slides broke down in early August. At the end of August, the latter is still broken. A shame. Children have long queues because the slides only open about twenty minutes after each wave ends.
It's undeniable that non-owner vacationers are less and less welcome. Even though the setting is still splendid with a magnificent sea view over the Gulf of Saint Tropez, we will probably change our summer vacation location. We may be disappointed and return to Les Restanques de Saint Tropez, but our last experience in 2025 was not satisfactory.
