The location is excellent, close to everything, right by the sea. The price is low, but the standard is average. The cleanliness is poor. There's a large and a small pool, but there's no entertainment for children; no swimming toys are allowed. The playground is broken, and access is prohibited.

DISGUSTING, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We booked a night at the Héliothel residence on Booking.com and see for yourselves in the photos: dead AND LIVE cockroaches were crawling on the walls and floors of the apartment. When we arrived, the bins were overflowing, there was pubic hair on the edge of the bathtub, the mattresses were stained, and none of the beds were made. Despite the photos, Booking.com refused to refund us and only gave me €10 as compensation for an unsanitary apartment that cost €250 a night! We were in room 030, in a private apartment within the residence, and I should point out that the owner didn't even bother to reply when we sent him the photos. He simply apologized. The cleaning lady arrived the next morning as we were leaving (completely useless). I won't even mention that the ventilation ducts must be faulty; there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke everywhere. Dirty, deplorable service. The reception staff refused to do anything for us because Pierre et Vacances owns the majority of the apartments; we had to sleep on our beach towels or turn the sheets over to avoid contact with them. I don't thank them for this lack of empathy either.

The Pierre & Vacances residence... is actually
a social housing complex... poorly maintained and unsafe.
Wrecked cars in the outdoor and indoor parking lots??!!!
Air conditioning out of order for 72 hours.
Constant coming and going day and night of non-residents and non-vacationers, creating noise pollution.
Gate code changed every Saturday.
This doesn't prevent people from outside the residence from squatting in the pool, swimming in non-compliant attire.
No legally required water analysis results are posted.
In short, this social housing complex reflects a lawless segment of our society.

The reception staff are friendly and very professional, as are the housekeeping staff. The residence's location is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside or relaxing on the beach. I highly recommend this residence.
