I'm not in a good mood these days, so I'm going to get this off my chest. I've been coming to this campsite for 20 years and I've never experienced such a mess…

Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities haven't been in decent condition for the last four years, and it's getting worse and worse. NOTHING IS CLEAN. The toilets, the showers, the sinks, the laundry and dishwashing tubs: nothing is up to standard.

This year, they decided to make some changes. The resort decided to add a keypad entry system for the sanitary facilities. Although they think that people other than campsite residents are using the facilities, why are you doing this?

Almost no one uses the toilets except the residents.

We expressed our dissatisfaction to the resort manager. He politely told us that it was our fault the sanitary facilities were dirty. He raised his voice and spoke to us curtly, without a shred of common sense. We called the police to calm the increasingly chaotic situation.

The manager addressed us informally throughout, while we used formal address (the appropriate form of politeness when speaking to a customer or someone you don't necessarily know).

I find it truly regrettable that the resort is neglecting the campsite to this extent and leaving the reins in the hands of a manager like him. Although I'll be back next year, I would really like them to take action.

We can all find happiness, even if it's sometimes difficult to find.

I sincerely hope this feedback will help things change for the better and in everyone's best interest.

Second stay at this Pierre & Vacances resort.
It's a little haven of peace, perfect for a relaxing holiday with young children.
A safe place that allows children some freedom.
Pleasant swimming pool with three pools of varying depths.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Pierre & Vacances residence on Île d'Aix.

The reception team was very friendly, professional, and responsive. The swimming pool was magnificent, and we enjoyed it very much.

However, the accommodation was rather basic, with a lack of privacy in the bathroom and shower, which were very open to the rest of the room.
We were also disturbed by the intrusion of people from outside the residence into the pool area. Their behavior was inappropriate: jumping into the water without respecting other vacationers, and young people in sneakers around the pool. I had to ask them to leave myself, even though this shouldn't be the responsibility of the residents. Increased surveillance or the occasional presence of a security guard would help to better preserve the peace, hygiene, and comfort of the vacationers.
Despite this inconvenience, we have fond memories of our stay, especially thanks to the quality of the welcome and the beautiful surroundings.
