We arrived on the evening of August 1st and found the apartment in a deplorable state. We had booked an apartment for 5 people, but it was completely inadequate. The air conditioning was faulty and didn't work at all. There was a van in the living room, so the bedrooms weren't being used (it was unbearably hot!). My children had to move the mattresses into the living room. We spent our first night in a terrible place. We stayed there for 15 days, and it's only fair that we expect to be in a clean and decent place. We paid for this accommodation, and we feel that the price did not correspond at all to the services advertised at the time of booking. An email was sent to the hotel reception, but there has been no response.

We stayed at a Pierre & Vacances residence in Maurici Park, Empuriabrava, and were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience.

From the moment we arrived, we noticed a clear lack of cleanliness. The terrace was regularly flooded every morning, with water dripping onto us as we tried to have breakfast.

The sofa was covered in numerous stains, the floor had several black marks of dirt, and the walls also bore many marks.

The kitchen hob was left on constantly, which was particularly stressful and worrying during our stay.

The soundproofing of the accommodation was also a major drawback. We were woken up several times by barking dogs, the noise of people working outside, and we could even hear keys turning in the locks of neighboring apartments. Peace and quiet were therefore extremely difficult to achieve.

The only real positive point was the location of the accommodation, which is pleasant and well situated.

In conclusion, we were very disappointed with our stay and we absolutely do not recommend this residence, particularly regarding the cleanliness, soundproofing, and overall condition of the accommodation. For the price paid, we clearly expected a higher quality of service.

It's outrageous! When you book, you select the free cancellation option, which you pay extra for, and then when you want to cancel, they have the nerve to tell you the cancellation deadline has passed. Excuse me? When do they start giving out whatever information they want and ripping you off by making you pay for some ridiculous condition?

I booked this hotel to visit the Costa Brava. The coast is indeed beautiful; however, we are not in Spain, and Spanish is barely spoken, mostly Catalan.

Regarding the hotel, I had a very bad first impression. The apartment was very large and clean, but after a few days, there was an air conditioning problem. They took care of it the next day, which was fine, but the problem wasn't resolved, so there was little to no air conditioning. I got an electric shock when touching the washing machine and microwave; I had to reset the circuit breaker to get the heating back on.

The pool is very nice but very much in the shade, exposed to the sun from 2 pm to 6 pm, so the water is 25 degrees Celsius, not ideal for young children.

The parking spaces are very small, which isn't great.

The hot shower was perfect. For a stay of a few days, 7 is fine maximum, but no more.
