Terrifying Experience: Hotel Robbery, Zero Security, and No Help

Our stay at this hotel was the worst experience we've ever had while traveling. On the day of the robbery, we went out to eat and upon returning, discovered someone had entered our room with a key, without forcing the door or breaking anything.
The most disturbing thing is that they only took the cash, leaving watches, cell phones, and other valuables in plain sight, as if they knew exactly what they were looking for.

We weren't the only ones affected: several guests in other rooms were robbed on the same day, all with the same pattern. This leads us to strongly suspect that it could have been hotel staff or someone with direct access to the keys.

When we reported this to reception, the response was outrageous: zero interest, no help, and no intention to investigate. They didn't check cameras (if they exist), didn't call the police, and made us feel like they didn't care at all about their guests' safety.

Spending the night in a hotel should provide peace of mind, but here we felt completely exposed and vulnerable. An unsafe place, lacking professionalism and ethics, that doesn't deserve any traveler's trust.

We will never return and I don't recommend it to anyone who values their safety.

En Pierre & Vacances Salou consideramos la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes como prioridad absoluta, pero no le podemos permitir que ponga en duda la honorabilidad de nuestros compañeros.

Como bien saben, se llamó a los Mossos, que hablaron con los afectados, entre ellos ustedes. Más tarde se revisaron las cámaras.

Las cámaras funcionan perfectamente pero no es fácil identificar a un sospechoso con el complejo lleno.

Por nuestra parte seguimos colaborando con los cuerpos policiales para averiguar lo sucedido.

A very expensive hotel with rather neglected facilities. Aside from that, they broke into our apartment to steal and didn't help us at all. The treatment was quite inadequate throughout our stay. I don't recommend it to anyone. It's almost better to go to sleep on the beach.

Disappointing trip to Pierre et Vacances Salou. The accommodation smelled musty upon our arrival, and despite opening the windows for several days, the odor was unbearable. The toilets and showers were dirty upon our arrival, not to mention the sink and shower were leaking.
We had our belongings, jewelry, and a lot of cash stolen while we were at the residence's pool by a woman dressed like staff, but the reception claims she wasn't one of them. Several residents from all the apartments were robbed. There were no signs of a break-in; the police suspect that a staff member collaborated with this thief to get keys and clothing.
From Pierre et Vacances? No security! Cameras are present but don't work, and codes for building doors are useless because you just have to push them, making them unsecure. A young woman at reception is left alone to deal with angry vacationers with the police, without any response from her managers. No follow-up from reception after the incident. There is so little security that this woman, seen by several vacationers, was spotted by a young girl at 9 a.m. and at 3 p.m. This thief was present all day without the staff noticing. There is no security during the day or night because people swim until 4 a.m. in the pool, even though the opening hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., not to mention the disruption to sleep at night due to the disturbances from other vacationers. I don't dare imagine if a tragedy occurs one day.

An unacceptable stay; for the price paid, this is intolerable from this reputable establishment.

Concernant vos accusations, il est absolument faux que la police ait porté une telle accusation contre notre personnel. Comme vous le savez, après vous avoir parlé directement, nous avons nous-mêmes rencontré la police et fourni les images pertinentes. Or, elle affirme au contraire qu'il pourrait s'agir de n'importe qui de l'extérieur, excluant ainsi des membres du personnel interne. Nous regrettons ce qui s'est passé, mais nous ne vous permettons pas de mettre en doute l'intégrité de nos collègues. Les caméras fonctionnent parfaitement, mais il n'est pas facile d'identifier un suspect au sein d’une résidence complète. De notre côté, nous poursuivrons notre enquête pour déterminer ce qui s'est passé.

A great place to stay for a family; the kids loved the pool.
On the other hand, the kitchen utensils need updating, and the soundproofing is a shame. Despite this, I'll definitely come back.
