The residence is pleasant and modern, however, the apartment itself was rather disappointing. A sewer smell was emanating from the toilets, and the living room sofa also gave off an extremely unpleasant odor. We reported it to reception, who was already aware of the problem with the aftertaste odor and offered us an essential oil air freshener. We made do with the sofa smell. The next day, when we reported it to reception, three receptionists were present, and one of them apologized for the inconvenience. I will not return to this residence, even though I am a regular at Pierre et Vacances residences.

We are happy to share our very positive review of the Pierre et Vacances residence "Le Chant des Oiseaux" where we just stayed. Our rental: a 3-person apartment overlooking the countryside.

The view from our balcony-terrace was absolutely splendid, and the apartment was functional.
The hotel residence enjoys a peaceful setting. Located just a few minutes' walk from the port of Courceulles, it is an ideal base for visiting the many D-Day landing sites and beaches.

The unexpected little extra that enhanced our stay: a live outdoor concert by the band Salem, right outside our bungalow.

|| We were able to enjoy a slightly earlier check-in than initially planned thanks to Léa, the receptionist, who was very helpful and insightful in her approach to welcoming guests.
Xavier, the reception manager, was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay, bringing us our order of pastries on the day of departure.
Very professional staff. Cleanliness extends even to the garbage rooms, which are also hosed down. Thank you to these P&V employees for this thankless but valuable job.

A delightful stay, a very pleasant and professional welcome. Our residence was clean and well maintained. The shops and fishmongers are close to the residence. Hearing the sounds of the seagulls, what a joy!!! We will come back with pleasure. A big thank you for everything.
