The stay could have been fantastic, but unfortunately there was no security guard at night. Consequently, with the heat, it was impossible to open the windows because of the excessive noise from the young people. The atmosphere was great for young people, but they should have been respectful of each other. Ball games, shouting… until, without exaggerating, 4 or 5 in the morning, which is a shame.

For a region with such a high amount of sunshine, the number of parasols is limited.

Nevertheless, the setting is truly wonderful.

Despite everything, we had a good holiday at Cap Esterel. The setting and the view are magnificent, the pools are lovely, and the activities are very well-suited to children and teenagers. We also want to highlight the excellent supervision of the wave pool: numerous lifeguards are present in the water and around the pool, very attentive and responsive, which is truly reassuring.

Unfortunately, our disappointment stemmed mainly from the value for money: nearly €3,200 for a week for four adults, just for accommodation and without any meals included. At this price, we expected significantly better service.

The accommodation was dated and poorly maintained: dust under the bed, some kitchen utensils in poor condition, shower seals that needed replacing… The shower is also extremely small: a person of about 1.80 m and 80 kg would have great difficulty showering comfortably.

Another significant problem: we had booked for four adults, but there was only one proper bedroom. The second room was a small cabin, more suitable for young children. The other two people, who are not a couple, had to share the same sofa bed in the living room for a week, with no real privacy. For €3,200, we believe that accommodation advertised for four adults should actually be suitable for four adults.

We also wasted time figuring out how the air conditioning worked upon arrival, without any prior explanation.

Our terrace was exposed to full sun in the morning, making it virtually impossible to have breakfast there. Pierre & Vacances explained that they no longer provide parasols following an accident, which we completely understand for safety reasons. However, in this case, an alternative shade solution should be offered so that we could actually enjoy the terrace.

We also visited the accommodation of friends who had rented from a private owner in the same village, and the difference in maintenance and amenities was striking. Unfortunately, there is a real discrepancy between the beautiful photos shown and the condition of some Pierre & Vacances accommodations.

We also found several restaurant owners in the village to be rather unfriendly and unwelcoming, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Finally, be careful on the water slide in the lower pool: even following the indicated position, I picked up a lot of speed, and it's possible to tip over on the turns. The landing pool also seemed quite shallow: I hit my feet on the bottom, and I heard several other people make the same comment. This point should be checked.

We had a good holiday thanks to the setting, the pools, and the beauty of the location, but nearly €3,200 for this accommodation alone for a week seems clearly excessive given its condition and lack of comfort.

Our opinion is primarily constructive: Cap Esterel has enormous potential, but the Pierre & Vacances accommodations deserve more maintenance and renovation. We might return for the location, but unfortunately, we wouldn't choose Pierre & Vacances again under these conditions.

Magnificent grounds, impeccable hotel stay. Special mention for the pool lifeguard team: expertly managed, well done to them!

The only thing missing is a new lining in the paddling pool, as the existing one becomes unpleasant after a few minutes. ? The entertainment team was also excellent; we had a wonderful holiday! ☺️

The village boasts an ideal location and features large, very pleasant aquatic facilities, which are clearly one of its main assets.

However, we were very disappointed by the condition and comfort level of the apartments. The accommodation is really small, outdated, and in dire need of renovation. We also encountered numerous problems during our stay: the dishwasher had to be replaced, the sink was clogged, there was no hot water for two days, not to mention the mediocre air conditioning.

Beyond the apartment, the outdoor areas also give an impression of progressive deterioration: aging walkways, damaged furniture and equipment, particularly the concrete ping-pong tables, and more generally, a visible lack of maintenance and renovation.

It's a shame because the site has great potential, thanks to its location and aquatic facilities. But considering the expected standard of a Pierre & Vacances village and the prices charged, a major renovation of the apartments and common areas now seems essential. As it stands, there is a real discrepancy between the quality of the site and that of the hosting offered.
