Very expensive for what it is, the services are clearly not up to the price... The accommodation smelled strongly of mustiness when arriving, dirty microfiber cloths lying around on the bar, living room/dining room invaded by ants, towel dryer that does not work in a very humid accommodation so impossible to dry anything. The equipment could also be modernized, in particular the coffee maker, a doormat would be appreciated. Fortunately, cleaning is included because there must have been 3 hairs left on the broom... . The children's games in the beach area could also be improved, it is really the minimum of the minimum. And very large area so you have to take the car for almost everything, it is really not practical.

We spent a week at Pierre et Vacances in the Belle Dune village. The holiday village is very well located, the scenery is magnificent, we were by the lake, it was very good. There are opportunities for walks, especially in the forest just behind. There are playgrounds for children, a secure motorcycle parking lot, a tennis court, a city stadium for football. Regarding the swimming pool: it would have been better to mention the opening and closing dates of the outdoor area. Indeed, when we came, the entire outdoor area was closed. This greatly restricts the aquatic area. Only the wave pool remains, a single slide, a pool just for doing laps. We were very disappointed with the aquatic area. In addition, the pool hours are very limited, closed all day on Thursdays and closed every other day in the morning! Otherwise, the water was well-tempered, the wave area is very fun, especially with children. For the rest, there is a small supermarket on the village square, some entertainment, a restaurant bar whose pizzas are very good. I recommend this holiday village if you want to spend a peaceful little holiday by the lake surrounded by woods and forests.

We chose Pierre et Vacances for a short stay (outside of school holidays) in a quiet environment with our baby.
We even chose a beachfront accommodation to truly enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting.
However, we were disappointed by the amenities.
We had booked a baby kit, which wasn't present upon our arrival. Once delivered to the accommodation, we had the unpleasant surprise of seeing that the travel cot was sagging in the middle, so our baby couldn't sleep in it (and consequently, we didn't sleep either). Added to this were the cries of dozens of ducks right in front of the accommodation all night, then the lawnmowers and leaf blowers all morning by the residence employees; no rest was possible....
We even decided to leave after two of the four nights booked (even though we weren't reimbursed).
We could see that the employees were preparing for the long weekend and summer because there was renovation work going on in the surrounding accommodations. Even though the employees weren't particularly noisy, we've experienced more peaceful surroundings...

Added to this, the service was average.
On the first evening, we ordered takeout pizzas from the residence's restaurant, which is located in the village. When we arrived there to pick them up, the employee told us they'd left the pizzas burnt but would remake them. So we waited. Back at the accommodation (we drove back and forth given the distance between the beach and the village), we realized that one of the two pizzas wasn't what we'd ordered. We had to return to the village.
Given the price of the pizzas, we were very disappointed.

Regarding the aquaclub, we drove there, and when we arrived at the parking lot, we realized it was undergoing renovations. We called reception, who told us they hadn't been aware of it. We had to park further away and lug the baby and all our belongings around.

Given the price of the stay, we expected better and were very disappointed.

We just wanted to rent bikes there, a disaster, the bikes in poor condition, I had to finish my bike ride on foot. My bike kept derailing. No action from the rental company. Rent your bikes elsewhere if you really want to ride them.

The pre-stay and welcome were very well organized. The site was very pleasant with lots of activities. Friendly staff. The accommodation overlooked the lake, well located and perfect for children. The only remarks were that the microwave with its oven function was not great, and the cleanliness of the floors, especially the bedrooms, needed improvement. We'll be back!
