This hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but I'm not sure it's even a 3-star. It's located near the beach, but you have to go down three large flights of stairs. The armchairs in the lobby are covered in stains, the room doors are broken, the curtains are dirty, the refrigerator doesn't cool properly, the mattresses have springs that you can feel... and the pillows are very worn.

The cleaning service is terrible. The shower had sand from the previous day, the bathroom countertop was dirty, the toilet was leaking, and the terrace wasn't cleaned at all in 7 days of our stay. The closets are full of lint and broken. Under the beds, there were remnants of previous guests... Vaseline... etc.

The dining room... The food is repetitive; not once did we get prawns or shrimp... and it says 4 stars? While heating bread, I found a cockroach crawling across the counter. All five of us staying here had diarrhea. The coffee and juice were just water.

This hotel leaves much to be desired. The only positive is that they accept pets, but otherwise, I can't say it was a good experience. I came with high hopes, and it was a disappointment. TERRIBLE.

The best thing about the Ana María hotel is the entertainment.

They've really screwed us over.

During my stay at the Pierre & Vacances hotel in Calpe, my experience was very negative.

The worst part was seeing two cockroaches walking freely around the buffet area. This completely undermined my confidence in the hotel's hygiene and made me lose all desire to eat breakfast. Seeing more than one cockroach in an area where food is served is very worrying and gives the impression that there might be a pest control problem that should be addressed urgently.

Furthermore, the food quality was very poor. The bacon was burnt, excessively greasy, and, in general, the buffet did not meet the expected quality standards.

On the other hand, the room cleaning was clearly inadequate. The staff only made the bed, but did not sweep the floor or empty the trash can, so the room was not properly cleaned.

Overall, I believe the service received fell far short of what one would expect from an establishment of this kind, and I request that these events be investigated and appropriate measures taken.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, as well as the rest of the hotel (pool, restaurant), were very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent (lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, a wide selection). I highly recommend this hotel!
